What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interventional Radiology Physician Assistant (Part-time, Benefit Eligible: 24 Hours) position at Western Reserve?
The Nurse Practitioner performs comprehensive history and physical assessments on the general medical population in a variety of settings, which may include inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory and others. Using the interdisciplinary team process, completes a comprehensive H&P and contributes to the development of an integrated plan for the management of general medical patients, and communicates this plan to others involved in the care of the patient. Ensures quality of patient care by utilizing established standards of care for general medical patients and coordination of services with physicians, care managers, social workers, patient care coordinators, therapists and other community agencies as appropriate.
- Experience performing interventional radiology procedures including Paracentesis, Thoracentesis and Fluoroscopy preferred
- This position will require 1 weekend one 1/2 day on call per month
