What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist (Inpatient), PRN position at Western Reserve?
We are looking for a PRN Physical Therapist to assist in the acute care inpatient setting working on the medical surgical floor, orthopedic floor, and ICU. Outpatient PT is also an option but not required .
Evaluates and treats patients with injury or illness through established physical therapy interventions and treatment procedures. Supervision of physical therapist assistants, students and others as deemed appropriate.
Education and Training
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current license issued by the Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Athletic Trainer Board to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio
- BLS required
Experience
- One (1) year of experience working as a Physical Therapist preferred.
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
- Successful verbal and written communication skills required for customer relations.
- Must be able to lift and transport patients and equipment.
- Must be willing to work with individuals with disabilities
Schedule:
- Shifts are Monday – Friday between the hours of 8-430.
- No holidays and no Saturday’s.
- Occasional Sundays are an option but are not required.
