What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist, PRN position at Western Reserve?
We are looking for a PT to assist in our two outpatient clinics. One is located inside Western Reserve Hospital and the other is inside the Falls Natatorium. There is opportunity to work with orthopedic, sports, and neurologic patients. There is also opportunity to do aquatic therapy and acute inpatient care if interested.
Evaluates and treats patients with injury or illness through established physical therapy interventions and treatment procedures. Supervision of physical therapist assistants, students and others as deemed appropriate.
Education and Training
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy; New Grads are required to have a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current license issued by the Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy/Athletic Trainer Board to practice Physical Therapy in the State of Ohio.
- BLS required.
Experience
- One (1) year of experience working as a Physical Therapist preferred.
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
- Successful verbal and written communication skills required for customer relations.
- Must be able to lift and transport patients and equipment.
- Must be willing to work with individuals with disabilities
