- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with MSHA regulations
- Coordinate with supervisors and managers to ensure effective execution of safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
- Assist in the development of training programs to educate employees on safety procedures and protocols
- Collaborate with contractors and engineers to ensure compliance with permit requirements and regulations
- Manage and maintain accurate records of safety incidents and near-misses
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and external stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
- 2 years of experience in construction, skilled trades, maintenance, or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Valid driver's license
