We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Prep to join our team at Western Sizzlin. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and portioning food items, assembling dishes, and ensuring that all food items are prepared to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and portioning food items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assembling dishes and plating items for service
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Ensuring that all food items are stored properly and rotated according to food safety guidelines
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food prep or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and presentation standards
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
