We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, analyzing financial data, preparing financial statements, and providing support to the finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to further develop their accounting skills and contribute to the growth of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports
- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Perform general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with external audit engagements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is a plus
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
