As a data assistant you will provide program support with secretarial, clerical and computer input. This position will assist and support the data specialist for Department of Energy and Housing and Urban Development grants.
MAJOR DUTIES
- Assist with program in clerical activities such as:
a. Typing, filing, copying
b. Updating Client files, Process applications
c. Computer Data entry, maintain inventory controls, submit reports.
d. Process purchase orders and invoices
e. Closeout client files.
f. Posting information to state website
- Schedule appointments with clients for various grant programs
- Communicate with applicants for application processing, scheduling, questions and concerns as appropriate
- Communicate with supervisor any problems, complaints, or complications that require escalation
- Attend staff meetings and in-service training.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School diploma or GED plus two (2) years related experience
2. Proficient in computer operations.
3. Non-profit experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
