With your help, we can continue to make possibilities reality What would I do? As a Data Modeler you will be a member of Western & Southerns IT Information Management Office (IMO) responsible for the creation and support of relational data models for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDWH) as well as reporting and application specific databases. You will lead in the design of efficient database models that ensure quality data, meet business requirements and adhere to architectural guidelines. You will engage with the ETL Development, Data Architects, Business Stakeholders, and Project Managers to ensure best practices and standards are implemented. Data Modelers also work with thought leaders in the IMO to ensure data models align with defined strategies, reference architecture, and data management standards and practices. This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience in data integration, data modeling, data stores (especially relational databases), and BI / analytics. Experience in reference and master data management, data quality management, systems integration, and data cataloging is highly welcomed. An individual in this role is expected to have a keen eye for process improvement, technical solutioning, and the ability to understand / implement different types of data models (conceptual, logical, and physical). Individuals should be comfortable working and communicating with a range of associates including IT partners, senior IT management, vendors, and business stakeholders.
