Job Duties
Western State Hospital is seeking a full time PSR Assistant Program Admin. to coordinate and assist with operations of the PSR Program; assist with the provision of PSR services per CMS requirements and hospital instruction (HI); assist in the development and implementation of therapeutic interventions; coordinate with the Learning Center (LC) PSR Program Admin I to ensure staffing coverage and to provide a safe and therapeutic milieu (including day of events, such as callouts) and communicating needs/changes as assigned; follow up on any scheduling issues and communicate this with PAS II, Program Manager II, treatment teams and service chiefs as needed; and assist and complete assigned duties for data tracking in HOPS and/or other various databases as required.
The PSR Assistant Program Admin will also will assume management role with supervision of PSR Program Admin II (PAS II), Director of Rehab Services, or Service Chiefs in the event supervisor/PAS II is not available; attend 75% (or 9/12) rehab departmental meetings; provides 4 hours of group facilitation and plans interventions/activities per direction of supervisor/PAS II and/or PSR Program Admin II (PAS II) as needed; produces written evidence and data that PSR interventions have been carried out per facility/department protocol through utilization of HOPS database; and document and communicate individual needs to treatment teams as indicated.
