Job Description
This position involves designing, coordinating, and possibly project managing fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will create detailed drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and/or AutoSprink software, perform BIM coordination duties, conduct flow tests and site surveys, and develop positive relationships with customers to ensure the company meets their expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree from a technical school or college
- NICET certification is a plus
- Demonstrated ability with Revit, AutoCAD, AutoSprink, or other specialized fire sprinkler layout software
- Project management experience a plus
- Proven ability to work in a timely manner and meet deadlines
- Three years' experience in commercial, industrial, and residential design
- Detail-oriented with skills in freehand and mechanical lettering and drawings
- Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
