This position is based in Colorado Springs and the Southern Colorado region.

As a civil construction project manager, you will be responsible for managing drainageway improvements, stormwater infrastructure, erosion control, site development, flatwork, and structural concrete projects throughout Colorado Springs and Southern Colorado. This role requires a balance of fieldwork and office-based project management, ensuring that all aspects of construction are executed safely, efficiently, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage stormwater infrastructure, drainageway improvements, grading, erosion control, flatwork, structural concrete, and site development projects from pre-construction to final completion.
- Split time between on-site fieldwork to oversee crews and office-based tasks for project planning, budgeting, and coordination.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and cost-effective completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all work complies with contract requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Oversee structural concrete elements, including walls, flatwork, reinforced concrete structures, and foundations, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
- Conduct on-site inspections and progress meetings, coordinating with field crews and superintendents to drive efficiency and resolve challenges.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Assist in estimating, bidding, and proposal development to support business growth.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in civil construction, stormwater, site development, structural concrete, or drainage infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage structures, erosion control, water quality basins, structural concrete, and flatwork.
- Experience with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 30, Stormwater Management (SWPPP), or other relevant industry certifications are a plus.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and foster client relationships.
