We are actively seeking skilled Nozzlemen experienced in shotcrete application and general concrete work to join our growing team. This role is essential in creating high-quality concrete finishes for a variety of structural, aesthetic, and functional applications. When not engaged in shotcrete work, the Nozzleman will contribute to general concrete operations such as forming, pouring, finishing, and curing to meet project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain shotcrete nozzles and equipment.
- Accurately apply pneumatically placed concrete (shotcrete) to designated surfaces.
- Assist with general concrete duties, including forming, pouring, and finishing flatwork, walls, and structural elements.
- Prepare surfaces and ensure proper curing for concrete installations.
- Collaborate with project superintendents, engineers, and site crews for optimal results.
- Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and materials to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Maintain consistent quality and adherence to ACI and project-specific standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on shotcrete application and general concrete work. Certified ACI Shotcrete Nozzleman preferred.
- Certifications: ACI Shotcrete Nozzleman Certification or equivalent (or ability to achieve certification prior to employment).
- Skills: Proficiency in wet-mix shotcrete application and general concrete processes, adhering to design specifications and quality standards.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work in varying outdoor conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with sculpted or decorative concrete is a plus.
