Job Description
Do you have proven experience working in a manufacturing warehouse environment? Are you looking for a schedule that's not too early in the morning but still allows you plenty of evening? We are seeking a detail-oriented and capable Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team at our Erlanger, KY facility, minutes from Cincinnati!
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, excellent organizational skills, and experience working with warehouse computer systems; typing, data entry, submitting forms, warehouse inventory software, setting up FedEx/UPS on the computer, printing labels, etc. Additionally, they will have prior experience using a variety of hand and power industrial trucks (pallet jack, rider pallet to start, then eventually reach truck, sit down rider, roll grab, as needed) to transport items throughout plant and warehouse, move finished product into and out of inventory, pull orders both FTL and LTL, and unload trucks. The Shipping and Receiving Specialist also receives stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the facility.
SHIFT AVAILABLE
10:00am - 6:00pm Monday-Friday (1 opening). Training hours would be 8am-4pm until ready to transition to 10am-6pm hours

- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items that need to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Operate a pallet jack throughout the shift to transport stored items from the warehouse.
- Pull customer orders using handheld scanners (ex. RFID bar code scanner) and warehouse inventory software.
- Pick up cartons of envelope by hand to scan then stack upon the pallet to build each shipment.
- Lift, stack, wrap, and secure envelopes for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery trucks staging orders for future outbound shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records on the computer by receiving and counting stock items and moving items in and out of inventory.
- Communicate with co-workers and others to carry out job duties.
