Western Suffolk BOCES anticipates an opening for a GED Instructor at our Wilson Tech Dix Hills campus.
Hourly salary; Monday-Friday, 10:40am-2:40 pm
Requirements:
NY State Teaching Certification in any subject area
Knowledge of the GED, and TABE testing
Experience teaching HSE-related disciplines: math, science, writing, reading, and social studies
Candidate should have experience using technology in the classroom and utilizing a variety of assessment methods
Maintain classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning.
Ensure that students are pre tested and post tested appropriately
Strives to maintain the highest post testing rate possible
