What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Technology Clinical Instructor-Part-Time position at Western Suffolk BOCES?
Western Suffolk BOCES anticipates an opening for a part-time Surgical Technology Clinical Instructor at our Northport campus.
The instructor will provide quality instruction that will contribute to the learning experiences necessary for each student to meet the objectives of the course and to be successful in both their education and career development experiences. The instructor will act as the clinical resource person for Surgical Technology students and oversee their assignments and clinical evaluations and will collaborate with the operating room manager/educator and the clinical coordinator for the program.
Requirements:
NBSTSA CST Certification
Associate's Degree
At least 2 years of CST operating room experience
Work is typically performed in an operating room and/or classroom lab setting. Hours vary between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
