Position Overview:
Certerra has an immediate opening for a full-time Airfield Pavement Material Testing Professional. The position is best suited for someone interested working in a fast-paced consultant environment, capable of effectively working as part of a collaborative team. This position will require regular travel to out-of-town project locations for extended periods of time up to 80% travel time. Pier diem and lodging is paid.
Responsibilities:
As part of an experienced team, you will apply your testing and inspection capabilities to a variety of projects. Applicants shall have an educational or professional background in construction inspection services and have experience evaluating soils, concrete, and asphalt, as they relate to site construction. Report writing and computer skills are required. Experience in airfield pavement construction is a plus.

- Field and laboratory testing of construction materials.
- Maintaining required certifications
- Completion of daily field/data reports
- Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
- Coordinating with clients and IG engineering and professional staff
Requirements:
- ACI certifications [desirable]
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
