Dynamic Program Manager Wanted for Leading Crisis Therapeutic Home
WTCSB is seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Manager for our Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) program, a 24-hour crisis intervention service for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. The ideal candidate will be adept at engaging with community partners, families, and other natural supports to ensure comprehensive access to care. The Program Manager must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to appropriately respond to crises and critical incidents. This role requires effective communication with a team comprising Licensed, Licensed Eligible, and Bachelor’s level Clinicians, ensuring collaboration and improved access. The Program Manager will also ensure that staff delivers person-centered client care, aligning with both the agency’s mission and CTH’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision and Development
- Provide ongoing professional development opportunities, crisis interventions education, and supervision to create and maintain a sage and therapeutic milieu.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations by way of weekly to biweekly supervisions, provide constructive feedback, and address performance concerns as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and staff retention.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Licensed, LE, QMHP and DSP staff.
Administrative Tasks:
- Participate in the intake and admission process of referrals.
- Monitor overall safety measures and aspects of the crisis therapeutic home.
- Collect and complete CTH data, and other standardized reports.
- Facilitate monthly team meetings and provide relevant feedback to team members.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all services, client interactions, and administrative activities.
- Maintain up-to-date records for funding sources, and compliance audits
Qualities and Skills:
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Valid clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC) preferred, not required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or administrative role.
- Strong understanding of crisis intervention techniques and best practices for children and individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and maintain a positive work environment.
- Valid Driver’s License
