We are seeking a full-time Social & Print Media Specialist located in Suffolk, VA.
Responsibilities and Duties for Social & Print Media Specialist:
- Craft professional and on-brand images and other visual content including flyers, infographics, checklists, guides, newsletters, etc. for digital and print use
- Assist with social media account management (Create content, schedule and/or post content and grow and engage audiences)
- Contribute ideas for content, marketing, and social plans as needed
- Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and developers to continually improve outreach across social media platforms and website
- Edit videos for internal and external trainings
- Minimal travel: driving to events and Western Tidewater Clinics to collect photos and videos for promotional content
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills for Social Media Specialist:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or relatable field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience managing social media and graphic designing
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record
- Basic video editing skills and knowledge of applicable video editing software.
- Basic graphic design skills and knowledge of Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Design, and various other applicable applications.
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok posting trends and algorithms.
- Strong design sense with an understanding of color, proportion, and typography.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with leadership, vendors, and employees
- Basic knowledge of behavioral healthcare agencies preferred
- Experience in crafting engaging and effective copy for social media platforms, with a strong understanding of audience engagement and brand voice preferred
