JOB TITLE: DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (RESIDENTIAL TECH)
WORK HOURS: VARIABLE HOURS TO INCLUDE EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS & PRN Shifts
We are seeking qualified candidates to fill positions for the following department: CCSU, Residential, REACH, & THE COVE
Western Tidewater Community Services Board is currently offering an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our team as Program Technician. There are both full-time and PRN positions available and the chosen candidate for this position will be responsible for assisting in the execution and maintenance of consumer treatment plans for the consumers within our ID and MH programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Assisting with the implementation of consumer treatment plans
- Care, monitoring, evaluation and maintenance of a safe environment for individuals identified with one or more of the following:
- Developmental Disabilities (Adult or Child)
- Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED) (Children /Adolescents)
- Serious Mental Illness and/or Substance Abuse (SMI/SA).
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
- High School diploma or GED Certificate
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License with acceptable DMV record
- One year of direct care service in an Developmentally Disabled/Mental Health setting
- Food Handlers Certification.
