Western Union powers your pursuit

In this role, you will prepare various standalone financial statements for SEC and regulatory filings, according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), perform technical accounting research, and prepare related memos and analysis.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage portions of the SEC filings on the Form 10K and 10Q
• Prepare and analyze month end reporting schedules
• Analyze complex balance sheet accounts in accordance with GAAP and Western Union accounting policies
• Work with business partners to analyze and resolve financial reporting issues
• Design and develop ad hoc reporting
• Participate in the most complex accounting projects, such as system implementations, purchase accounting, etc.
• Provide leadership in initiating and implementing process improvements
• Research complex technical accounting issues and write technical memos, including conclusions on accounting positions
• Mentor and assist with training other Accountants and Specialists

Salary

The base salary range is $90,150 - 105,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
