Software Engineering - Mulesoft

Lead the Integration Architecture design for MuleSoft implementation, partnering with business Integration Teams to maximize efficiency. Deliver the Enterprise Integration Architecture in Cloud and on-premises, identifying the platform landscape, conducting Dev/Ops CICD, and monitoring processes and the Integration Technology/tools Portfolio. Develop and deliver solutions involving a combination of dierent technologies. Lead the design and documentation of new and enhanced systems. Develop quality code and automated tests. Participate in agile software development life cycle from story grooming through detailed design, coding, functional testing, code review and retrospectives. Take a leadership role in dening technical roadmap for products and technical components. Work with business partners to understand their needs and proactively lead them to solutions. Troubleshoot application issues and coordination issues resolution with Operations, functional and technical teams. Provide support in conguring and troubleshooting solutions and providing implementation best practices to development. Deliver common framework architecture and high-level design. Implement knowledge of modern technologies and integration architecture disciplines including hybrid cloud, APIs, streaming technologies, event-driven systems, self-service data platforms, and analytics to meet business needs. Mentor the Integration Platform and Development teams on the management and design of the Integration solutions, while executing Integration design, performance and code reviews as needed. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union, LLC at 11902 Burnet Road, Suite 350, Austin, TX 78758. Salary: $155,709 - $179,687 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or any occupation/position/job title involving MuleSoft software engineering.

Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience contributing to business technology direction to drive measurable business improvements; 5 years of professional experience using RESTful and SOAP based web services; 5 years of professional experience utilizing agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery); 5 years of professional experience designing and implementing complex integration solutions with strong proficiency in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including Designer, Exchange, Mule Runtime Manger, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and API Manager; 5 years of professional experience implementing error handling using different exception strategies including Raise Error, On Error Propagate, On Error Continue, and Try Scope and Custom Global Error Handler; and 5 years of professional experience performing unit testing and mocking frameworks.

Annual base salary gross: $155,709 - $179,687 USD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
