Your New Role
As a Business Development Professional, in Salem, OR, you'll play a key role in driving sales, expanding market reach, and managing customer relationships. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
- Managing quotes, orders, and projects, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction
- Acting as the main liaison between customers and internal teams, including Sales, Engineering, and Project Management
- Analyzing customer requirements, developing strategies, and optimizing marketing efforts
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely project completion
- Addressing customer inquiries, providing solutions, and maintaining long-term partnerships
- Traveling up to 30% to meet with clients, attend conferences, and provide on-site support

Job requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Experience: 3-5 years of B2B sales, preferably in the telecom, utility, construction and manufacturing industry
- Experience in complex sales environment is required - Retail, kiosk, or consumer sales experience alone does not meet this requirement
- Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, consultative selling style
- Ability to analyze RFQs, specifications, and engineering drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce or NetSuite (preferred)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Background with civil engineering projects is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 30% as needed
