Job Description
We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support for our patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible, trained, and able to work alongside our clinical staff. Compassion and a calm demeanor are essential, along with a commitment to following health and safety guidelines. Our goal is to promote patient well-being through high-quality care in our Vascular Surgery facilities.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Western Vascular, you will assist the clinical staff with patient intake, patient vitals, exam room preparation & wound care.
Compensation will be dependent on experience and should be discussed during the interviewing process.
Responsibilities
- Taking medical histories, recording symptoms, and asking preliminary questions before seeing the doctor.
- Measuring blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Preparing exam rooms, positioning patients for examination, and providing necessary supplies.
- Cleaning and bandaging minor wounds.
- Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
- Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

Requirements
- A current/active Certified Nursing Assistance Certificate preferred but not required
- 1 year of medical/clinical experience required
- ACLS/BLS Certification
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to always follow them, including HIPPA Privacy Rules.
