Boulevard Animal Hospital is seeking a Kennel Assistant to join our team! Our kennel team is dedicated to the care and comfort of our patients while providing critical support to the veterinary team.
In this role, you will focus on patient husbandry as well as general housekeeping duties throughout the hospital. You will provide meals and walks to boarding patients, administer medication, and monitor for any medical or behavioral concerns while providing detailed documentation about your observations. You will ensure kennels, common spaces, and treatment areas are sanitized and well-stocked with supplies. This position is ideal for those who are self-driven, detail-oriented, enjoy cleaning and organization, and are committed to contributing to a team-focused environment!
This Is a Full-time Position With The Following Schedule
Boulevard Animal Hospital is a 3-doctor practice that offers a wide range of services, including medical, diagnostic, surgical, wellness, and preventative healthcare to cats and dogs in our community. Our hospital is well-established in the area, and our team takes pride in its focus on client care and providing quality medicine for pets. We have great tenure, a positive culture, and have fostered an environment where coworkers become lifelong friends. Boulevard Animal Hospital is an experienced team of veterinarians and technicians, and we are proud to be a landmark of high-quality pet care in Raleigh for more than 75 years.

This Is a Full-time Position With The Following Schedule
- Weekday shifts: 7am - 6pm when scheduled
- Rotating weekends: When scheduled on the weekends, you will work brief hours on Saturday & Sunday in both the morning & afternoon.
- Compensation: $14-$16/hour, based on experience and skillset

- Kennel or animal handling experience desired, but not required
