Doctors Office for Pets is searching for a skilled veterinarian to lead our northern California practice.
As our Medical Director, youll lead a close-knit practice in a small mountain town just north of Lake Tahoe. As our current Medical Director plans her departure, you will have the opportunity to take over an established clinic with a loyal client base. In this role you will also build upon our hospitals current strengths, while elevating our services and encouraging new business ideas.
Were searching for:
- Culture driven mindset
- 5 years of current, hands-on, clinical experience
- Love for teaching and a willingness to mentor others
- Confidence with small animal medicine
- Experience with exotics is a plus (we see pocket pets, snakes, and birds)
- Veterinarian who trusts their technician team (we have multiple RVTs)
- Extra consideration will go to those with leadership experience
As our managing veterinarian, youll help build out our services and oversee all policies/procedures, ensuring our hospital exceeds expectations and medical standards. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role. Were happy to accommodate NO weekend, emergency, or on-call hours.
