Moreland Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a small animal veterinarian to our Portland, OR, team!
Experience and responsibilities:
In this role, youll collaborate with our 4 doctors and talented support team to treat our communitys dogs and cats. We are a fast-paced clinic, and are searching for an experienced veterinarian who is confident in soft tissue surgery and enjoys having a steady workflow. DVMs with positive attitudes and great bedside manner would be an excellent addition to our team. Must be licensed (or able to become licensed) in the state of Oregon for consideration.
A day in the life:
This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling. Ideally, our next associate will work four 10-hour weekday shifts and provide regular or rotating Saturday coverage. There are no on-call services or emergency hours required for this role. We typically have 1-2 DVMs seeing appointments and an additional doctor in surgery each day. We aim to finish surgeries by mid-afternoon and schedule appointments from 9am-noon and 2pm-6pm, with a two-hour buffer for lunch, sedations, charting, and general catch ups. Our primary surgeries a basic GP, with an emphasis on tumor removals and dentistry. We have a clean, corner location in an affluent area of Portland, and are proud to have excellent clientelemany have been with us for decades!
