Bernalillo Pet Care Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This is an excellent role for team players looking to grow and utilize their skills in a supportive environment. While we are prioritizing candidates with prior experience, we are happy to provide training to the right applicant.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist with surgical cases as well as exam rooms and outpatient procedures. You will work closely with your team to manage the veterinarian’s orders, ensuring the highest standards of patient care while maintaining an efficient workflow.
This is a full time position with a regular Monday-Friday schedule and rotating half-day Saturdays.

- Compensation : $16-18 / hour, based on experience and skillset

Anesthesia and surgical assistance
Bernalillo Pet Care Center a well-established, 5-doctor general practice dedicated to high standards of medicine and client care. Our primary focus is small animal, but we offer services to occasional pocket pets and exotics as well (we do not see birds). We also offer acupuncture and laser therapy! Our technicians and assistants are able to fully utilize their skillset in this fast-paced and fun, yet professional, environment. Plus, our practice has low turnover and high job satisfaction! We offer a great work-life balance (rarely here past 5 pm) and have an exceptional team of doctors to work with.
Salary : $16 - $18
