SUMMARY OF JOB
Works under trainer in various areas of Authority. Specific work areas an
Apprentices may work are Field Operations, Water Operations, Wastewater
Operations, Meter Operations or Office Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Other duties may be assigned or scheduled.
* Be dedicated to learning new skills. Must put in extra time and effort in building
knowledge and experience in the specific area they are assigned.
* Must make notes on what trainer is training.
* Must be able to handle constructive feedback.
* Must meet all deadlines required by the trainer.
* Must have ability to solve problems and resolve issues.
* Must follow all instructions of the trainer and work well as part of the entire
team.
* Must follow all safety procedures.
* Works towards licensure in areas that require license.
* Must not perform any work that is restricted by the age of the Student
Apprentice.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None.

Must be in 11th or 12th grade in the Authority service area public schools.
