About the Position
The Nursing Program maintains a vacancy pool of qualified persons interested in temporary, part-time teaching positions in either the RN-to-BSN or MSN programs. In anticipation of possible openings throughout the academic year and summer quarter, applications are accepted continuously for non-tenure track teaching positions. Positions in the rank of Instructor may become available at any time and are typically filled on a quarterly basis. Courses are face to face hybrid instruction; Clinical Practice Experience Instructors will travel to practice partner sites. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited institution in nursing or health related field
- RN Licensure in Washington State
- Potential for successful University teaching
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty and staff of diverse social identities and backgrounds, including a commitment to cultivating equitable and inclusive learning environments for all students
