Job Description: The Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruiting of all staff and providers including the onboarding of new hires. The role will cultivate relationships with those who are enthusiastic about working at a mission focused community health center. The position will require the coordination and development of strategic recruiting plans. As part of the Human Resources team, the Recruiter will collaborate with others in the department for various HR matters across WWFHC while following all policies and procedures.
PART I: ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTION AND DUTIES
HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Manages full cycle recruitment of all positions within the organization utilizing HRIS applicant tracking.
Establish a recognizable employer of choice reputation for Western Wayne both internally and externally.
Post openings on appropriate social media sites, job boards, websites, colleges/universities/trade schools and professional organizations.
Represents WWFHC at both virtual and in person job fairs as well as local/national conferences to attract new talent, increase company visibility and create candidate pipeline.
Performs timely review and screening of all candidates while providing status updates to internal team as well as the candidates throughout the interview process.
Schedules interviews with hiring managers and collects feedback on results of interview.
Manages the offer process by collaborating with hiring managers and leadership team on extending offers, creating offer letters, providing employment details and completing all background checks as required.
Utilizes technology to source candidates both active and passive ensuring appropriate skills, knowledge and experience in relation to position requirements.
Develops and revises workflows for the recruiting process.
Designs, assigns and monitors effective training plans, check lists and documents within the payroll system for effective onboarding.
Assist in developing, updating and maintaining accurate position descriptions.
Coordinate hiring and on-boarding/orientation programs for new hires, residents, fellows, interns, externs, etc.
Submit IT requests for assignments to Athena, Paycom, Dentrix, Samanage, etc and order appropriate computer equipment for employees, interns, etc.
Enroll all employees in HRIS system and respond to and assists with any issues
Respond to employees queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Serve as back up to other HR team members in areas of employee relations and benefits.
Assist with hosting quarterly staff meetings.
Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

PART III: EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field (essential).
2. A minimum of two years relevant professional work experience required; two years of experience with full cycle recruitment in healthcare is preferred.
3. Experience sourcing passive candidates.

12. Must have adequate transportation to visit the sites of the WWFHC.
13. Must demonstrate a history of cooperative relations with colleagues, support staff, administrators, and providers and an ability to function effectively as part of a professional team delivering healthcare in a community setting.
14. Must have excellent communication and listening skills, including motivational interviewing.
15. Ability to work in a multi-cultural setting.
16. Flexibility in days and hours available for scheduled work.
