Project Manager – SAP RISE & Activate Methodology

To complement our team in the United States, we are looking for SAP Senior Project Manager -SAP RISE & Activate Methodology

Location: Remote (United States)

Your Responsibilities

• Leading the end-to-end management of SAP RISE projects, ensuring successful implementation and alignment with business objectives.
• Overseeing project timelines, budgets,resources, and deliverables, driving projects to successful completion within scope, schedule, and cost.
• Managing project teams, fostering collaboration, and ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders, including business, technical, and executive leadership.
• Applying the SAP Activate Methodology to manage the full project lifecycle, from discovery and planning through to deployment and continuous improvement.
• Coordinating and guiding cross-functional teams in the execution of Fit-to-Standard workshops,Design Thinking sessions, and solution blueprinting to ensure alignment with SAP best practices.
• Leading risk management activities, identifying potential issues early and implementing mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or scope creep.
• Ensuring the successful adoption of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) as part of the RISE initiative, aligning technical solutions with business requirements.
• Collaborating with SAP consultants and business stakeholders to ensure the SAP RISE solutions meet the customer’s expectations and are fully integrated into their operations.
• Engaging in pre-sales and project scoping activities, ensuring that project goals and deliverables are clearly defined from the outset.
• Driving change management and user adoption strategies, working closely with client teams to ensure smooth transitions during the implementation phase.
• Utilizing SAP's accelerators, templates, and Best Practices Explorer (BPX) to streamline project timelines and enhance the quality of deliverables.
• Monitoring and reporting on project progress, providing regular status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ensuring all SAP Activate Methodology phases are executed effectively, including Project Preparation, Blueprint, Realization, Final Preparation, Go-Live, and Support.
  
  

Your Skills And Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong track record of managing SAP RISE projects, especially with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with the SAP Activate Methodology and its application across different phases of the project lifecycle.
• A strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Solutions (RISE with SAP), and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
• At least 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on SAP solutions and a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Experience in SCM (EWM, TM, Yard), Logistics or S/4HANA as a Project Manager and/or Consultant is a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies, adapting as needed to meet project requirements.
• Ability to drive results in fast-paced, dynamic environments, while balancing multiple priorities and stakeholder interests.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving project success and delivering customer value.
• Familiarity with SAP tools like Solution Manager, Best Practices Explorer (BPX), and other accelerators to optimize project delivery.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills in fluent English.
• Willingness to travel, with flexibility to work on-site or remotely as needed.
