SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect and Pre-sales Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery responsibilities for S/4 projects in the US and Canada
• Perform detailed solution design, specification documents, and system customizing activities
• Drive customer workshops and requirements gathering sessions
• Engaging in pre-sales activities by working with qualified leads, conducting product demos and presentations, and supporting the conversion of opportunities into successful projects
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to the project team
• Ensure seamless solution delivery and client satisfaction
  
  

Your Experience And Skills

• Positive, self-starter, can-do attitude coupled with a motivation to succeed.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to project teams, fostering continuous learning and collaboration to enhance overall team performance.
• At least 15 years of hands-on experience in designing, configuring, testing, and implementing SAP ERP and S/4HANA (SD/MM; PP/QM or FI/CO) across various industries.
• Proven experience in executing S/4HANA transformations, including brownfield conversions, greenfield implementations, and Bluefield/selective transformations, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal business disruption.
• Expertise in managing brownfield prerequisites and leveraging key tools such as SAP Readiness Check, Simplification Item Check, Software Update Manager (SUM), and Custom Code Migration.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology with the ability to execute projects following this framework, advise customers, and prepare them for the key phases—starting from Discover through Deploy and Run.
• Understanding of SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) or Solution Manager to monitor, manage, and streamline implementation, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with best practices.
• Familiarity with SAP Signavio to assist in business process transformation, modeling, and optimization during S/4HANA projects.
• Knowledge of clean core practices, reducing customizations in the core system while using side-by-side extensions for easier upgrades and maintenance.
• Experience with SAP BTP to extend S/4HANA capabilities and integrate cloud solutions.
• Oversee the execution and delivery of S/4HANA projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and meet customer expectations.
• Pre-sales experience and a strong interest in continuing to develop new business opportunities.
• Experience in creating and delivering customer proposals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in fluent English.
• A good team player with strong logical and reasoning skills, who enjoys working in a global environment and is committed to high-quality project delivery.
• Willingness and availability to travel.
