WesternBank has an opening for a professional, experienced individual to fill a Customer Service Representative Supervisor/Lead Vault CSR position.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for all aspects of supervision – including coaching employees; providing CSR training and sales training to CSR’s; completing CSR performance evaluations; and scheduling employees to ensure adequate coverage of CSR areas to meet the Banks goals for customer service.
  • Ensures Customer Service Representative balancing is accurate.
  • Completes CSR, vault, and ATM cash counts monthly.
  • Ensures excellent customer service is provided throughout the CSR area.
  • Assists CSR’s in handling unusual requests or customer complaints or issues.
  • Represents the Bank in a courteous and professional manner while providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service to customers.
  • Refers Bank products to customers when appropriate and coaches CSR staff in appropriate customer-service and sales behaviors.
  • Holds monthly (or more frequent as may be necessary) meetings with CSR staff.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of CSR policies and procedures.
  • Maintains vault duties – including daily vault cash balancing, ensuring cash limits are met, filling coin and currency orders for commercial customers, processing incoming and outgoing ATM cassettes, buying and selling coin and currency to tellers, other WesternBank locations, and to the Federal Reserve Bank.
  • Responsible for CSR duties on an as-needed basis – including handling routine CSR transactions such as processing night and mail deposits; filling change orders; accepting deposits; transferring money; cashing checks; processing loan payments, Visa /MasterCard payments, processing money orders, and government savings bonds; and, balancing cash drawer and maintaining cash limits and proper security measures.
  • Trains, refreshes and is responsible for the compliance of the CSR area on security precautions and measures for everyday practice as well as in a robbery situation.
  • Responsible to maintain all customers, employee or Bank matters in the strictest confidential manner.
  • Responsible to follow all Bank policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Prior Customer Service Representative experience with a High school education or equivalent.
  • Prior supervisory and retail sales skills preferred or related work experience.
  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Basic mathematical skills and the ability to perform calculations of average difficulty.
  • Effective human relations, business writing and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to change and adapt to the needs of the Bank as necessary to meet organizational goals.
  • Ability to utilize computer and general office equipment and become proficient in the most current computer software and Bank-specific programs. Must have a well-developed knowledge and skill of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and E-Mail.
  • This position requires a high degree of initiative.
  • This position requires a high degree of patience, flexibility and the ability to change direction with minimal notice while maintaining effectiveness throughout operations.
  • Other training and educational expectations completed as determined by supervisor or management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
