Commercial Estimator/Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and project oversight, with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion. This role requires a keen understanding of construction processes, excellent negotiation skills, and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and compliance with contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and schedules.
• Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for project management and estimating tasks.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to secure favorable terms.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Prepare detailed project estimates, budgets, and reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain clear communication with all parties involved in the project to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
• Manage changes in project scope and schedule while minimizing disruptions.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction management or a related field is essential.
• Proficiency in project management software, including Bluebeam for document management and HeavyBid for estimating.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, pricing strategies, and negotiation techniques.
• Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in project estimating and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
