Job Summary
This role is responsible for utilizing shop packages, including manufacturing orders, bill of materials, routings, part prints, job layouts, and quality alerts to effectively manage production. Additionally, the individual will ensure that gases and tools used are within calibration dates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and operate multiple machines simultaneously as required by the routing
- Sort and rework non-conforming parts as needed
- Produce product to established quality standards and notify direct supervisor if non-conforming product is found
- Participate in SQCD Board meetings as scheduled
- Perform quality checks per WEOP0855 and associated Inspection Record (QF08120)
- Request raw material in a timely manner as needed for production and maintain accuracy of all inventory procedures
- Perform and document preventative maintenance according to released methods 100% of the time
Requirements:
- Ability to safely and properly operate and set up various production machines
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to do simple math calculations
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, and blueprints
- Ability to write simple correspondence and fill in required quality forms
- Ability to read and properly use measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gages, and other inspection devices as needed
- High School Education or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' experience
