Key Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Equipment Operator at WesternScott Fetzer, your primary responsibilities will include:
• Operating multiple spindle lathe type screw machines equipped with automatic indexing and feeding mechanisms.
• Utilizing shop packages, including manufacturing orders, bills of materials, routings, part prints, job layouts, and quality alerts.
• Performing quality checks per WEOP0855 and associated Inspection Record (QF08120).
• Requesting raw materials in a timely manner for production and maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Conducting preventative maintenance according to released methods 100% of the time.
In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be expected to participate in SQCD Board meetings as scheduled and collaborate with the production team to ensure that all products meet our high quality standards.
Requirements:
• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely operate and set up various production machines.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to perform simple math calculations.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and blueprints.
