Metal Fabrication Operations Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Metal Fabrication Operations Coordinator at WesternScott Fetzer. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the fabrication of metal components, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate the fabrication of metal components, including setup and operation of multiple machines.* Utilize various production machines safely and properly, adhering to established procedures and protocols.* Manage inventory by requesting raw materials in a timely manner and maintaining accuracy of all inventory procedures.* Perform quality checks per WEOP0855 and associated Inspection Record (QF08120), ensuring product meets established quality standards.* Sort and rework non-conforming parts as required, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.* Participate in SQCD Board meetings as scheduled, contributing to the development and implementation of quality control strategies.* Request preventative maintenance according to released methods 100% of the time, ensuring equipment is well-maintained and running efficiently.
Requirements:
* High School Education or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.* Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence, memos, and blueprints.* Basic computer knowledge and ability to perform simple math calculations.
