We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Westerville. As second-in-command of our kitchen, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure exceptional food quality, maintain efficient kitchen operations, and lead our talented culinary staff.
Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinate food preparation activities
Assist in menu planning and development while maintaining portion and quality control standards
Train, supervise, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure high performance and food quality standards
Manage inventory, place orders, and maintain relationships with food suppliers
Monitor food costs and kitchen budget while minimizing waste
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Maintain proper food handling, storage, and rotation procedures
Assist in creating and standardizing recipes
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
