What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook (Full-time temporary) position at Westerwood?
Westerwood is actively seeking a full-time Cook to add to our exceptional team and community. The scheduled hours for this position are 10am-7 : 30pm and includes weekdays and weekends. This position is temporary, however it may become permanent.

Our cooks are responsible for the preparation of all food items according to standardized procedures to quality and quantity standards of the Westerwood community and Dining Services department.
Job duties :
Prepares all soups, stocks, sauces, boils, braises and roasts items according to procedures; Prepares the preparation of all food served, following standard recipes and special diet orders. Plans food production to coordinate with meal serving hours assuring that excellence, quality, temperature and appearance of food is preserved; and Determines and obtains the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus.
