Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a current LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio, CPR certification, and have at least six months of geriatric nursing experience. Candidates must also have the passion and the ability to provide superior quality of care, with an emphasis on customer service in all that they do, and must be a resourceful problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides direct care to residents and administers medications.
- Administers treatments including, but not limited to, dressings, catheritization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
- Coordinate, supervise and evaluate resident care and assists in direct resident care, as necessary.
- Maintains accurate documentation of medication administered and cares rendered.
- Keep physician and family aware of change in resident’s condition.
- Assists in admission and discharge procedures.
- Responds to resident emergency call system, as indicated.
