A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROCESS ENGINEER
Join our team in New Richmond, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for process development, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding operations. You will support new and existing tooling, conduct quality inspections, monitor key process parameters, and assist with machine changeovers and maintenance. This position works closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to drive efficiency, reduce scrap, and ensure high-quality plastic components. Ideal candidates have experience in injection molding, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to train and support production teams. QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in manufacturing, an advanced Technical Apprenticeship Program Certification, or at least five years of experience in a similar injection molding role. A strong understanding of injection molding presses, molds, thermoplastics, and support equipment is required, along with experience in cleanroom molding operations. Candidates must possess computer proficiency, including knowledge of production monitoring and ERP systems, with IQMS experience being a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with measurement equipment are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and troubleshooting expertise are critical for success in this role
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role requires regular use of hands, arms, and fingers, as well as standing, walking, and wearing necessary PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection. Occasional sitting, climbing, kneeling, and lifting over 50 pounds may be required, including moving heavy molds and equipment. Employees will be exposed to moving mechanical parts in a manufacturing environment with low to moderate noise levels. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
