About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Animal Care Specialist. In this role, you will support veterinarians and technicians in their daily tasks by cleaning and maintaining equipment, feeding, exercising, and grooming pets.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides compassionate care to pets
- Receives animals to be admitted, weighing them upon entry, and ensures they have proper identification and records their respective locations
- Examines patients for external parasites such as fleas and/or ticks
- Communicates in a positive manner with owners and ensures they feel comfortable leaving their pet(s)
- Performs basic clerical work
Requirements
- Animal care experience: 1 year (Preferred)
