Your Impact
As a Category Manager, you will lead and coordinate activities throughout the product lifecycle, with a focus on three critical areas:
1. Discovery & Innovation
- Define and guide market research to uncover consumer, industry, and competitive trends.
- Develop actionable insights to drive strategic planning, including compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify target segments by understanding consumer motivations and needs.
- Conduct competitive analyses to uncover opportunities and craft positioning strategies.
- Develop a compelling product line vision and set measurable objectives that contribute to company success.
- Create long-term product roadmaps with clear channel differentiation and share the vision across teams.
2. New Product Planning
- Oversee development projects, balancing features, cost, and timelines to ensure goals are met.
- Manage risks throughout the development and launch process.
- Drive GO/NO-GO decisions to ensure only the best projects move forward.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute launch plans and ensure readiness.
- Ensure marketing materials, sales guides, and training content are developed to support launches.
3. Post-Launch Product Management
- Analyze consumer satisfaction, sales performance, and promotional impact to ensure ongoing success.
- Monitor product lifecycle stages and recommend marketing mix adjustments as needed.
- Conduct regular product reviews and make portfolio rationalization decisions when necessary.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Management, Business, or Marketing (preferred).
- 3-7 years of experience managing durable goods in mass and specialty channels.
- Note: This role is exclusively for durable goods product management; candidates with IT or software product backgrounds will not be considered.
