JOB DESCRIPTION
The Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA / RMA) serves all customers and is responsible for performing a wide variety of clinic functions relating to rooming, in-clinic procedures and administrative tasks.
Work Schedule : 32 hrs. weekly / .8 FTE
Mon-Thurs 9 : 00-5 : 30
Required Qualifications :
Graduate of formal Medical Assistant Program or Documentation of equivalent training / education.
Qualified to work in a moderately complex laboratory as mandated in the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 (CLIA).
Current BLS certification required at time of hire / start date
Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration by an agency approved by the National Certification Agency
At least six months recent (within the last 3 years) experience in a direct patient care setting.
