What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Trainer- Casual position at Westfields Hospital?
The Athletic Trainer participates in prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries within their scope of practice as set forth by the State of WI. Provides after school coverage and event coverage for area high schools and assists in implementing injury prevention and athletic enhancement programs.
Work Schedule: casual event coverage
Required Qualifications:
- Current WI license or ability to obtain WI license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or the ability to obtain the CSCS within 6 months of hire
- 1-2 years of experience. Entry-level graduates with NATA certification will be considered.
