Assistant Lacrosse Coach

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating and developing athletes. You will need to have prior experience coaching at the HS level.

Duties

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting training sessions and practices.
• Educate athletes on techniques and strategies for their respective sports.
• Provide guidance and support to athletes during competitions and events.
• Monitor athlete performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Help maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols.
• Organize team activities, including meetings, practices, and events.
• Collaborate with other coaching staff to develop training programs that meet the needs of all athletes.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect among all participants.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sports coaching or physical education is preferred.
• Mid Level Knowledge of Lacrosse is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate athletes.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
• A passion for sports and a commitment to fostering athlete development.
• Certification in lifeguarding or related safety training is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required by practice schedules or events.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 per week
