WestGate Church, a non-denominational, multi-congregational church situated in one of the most diverse and influential regions of the world—the Silicon Valley—is seeking an energetic, skilled Children’s Ministry Director to develop and maintain an effective children’s program for the WestGate Saratoga Campus. This full-time role (Sunday - Thursday) may require occasional work on Fridays and Saturdays as well as evening hours.

- Proven ability to coach, develop, and invest in team members' leadership and discipleship.

- Lead and shepherd the Saratoga Children’s Ministry team, including all SA directors, SA coordinators, and SA serve teams.
- Recruit, build, equip, and schedule a strong team of serve team members.
- Continuously seek opportunities for the personal growth and development of team members.
- Maintain and improve the excellence of KidzTown programs, (including Kidzcare) ensuring alignment with the Ministry Playbook.
- Collaborate with the Children’s Ministry Pastor and staff to innovate exciting ways to serve children and their families.
- Collaborate with the SA Children's ministry team to create fun and engaging events ( Walk with Jesus, Kidzcamp ect.) for children to encounter Jesus.
- Oversee curriculum development and implementation.
- Disciple children and provide pastoral care to parents in partnership with the Children’s Ministry Pastor.
- Create safe, warm, and welcoming environments (online and in physical locations) for children and their families.
- Foster relationships through partnerships with parents and serve teams.
- Ensure proper training opportunities for all serve team members.
- Maintain data on service and event attendance as well as serve team participation.
- Oversee the Saratoga Children’s Ministry budget and expenditures.
- Lead departmental meetings and participate in church staff meetings.
- Participate in church-wide events, contributing gifts and talents in all areas of ministry as time permits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
