Clinical Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
• Take medical imaging, including X-rays, as directed by the dentist.
• Manage patient records and appointments using Open Dental software.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as preparing materials for crowns or impressions..
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area to comply with health regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred; training to our office specifications will be provided.
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and general dentistry practices.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and medical terminology is essential.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and compliance with health standards.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
