Job Description
The Accountant Senior will work under the direction of the Property Controller or Manager to apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports for the Resort Accounting Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Month-end Close to coordinate the close of all HOAs, Rentals, Retail Outlets, and RMI business
- Prepares financial statements and analyses for the different areas of business
- Balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
- Compile and prepare year-end audit responsibilities
- Prepare Operational and HOA budgets
- Work on ad hoc projects as necessary to meet the objectives of the Resort Accounting Department

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with five years of accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance preferably in the timeshare industry
- Experience with software like Oracle or similar enterprise accounting systems
- Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
- Detail Oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve financial discrepancies
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Excel is required (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)
