What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fuel Transport Driver position at Westgate Transportation Co?
Primary Function: Responsible for safely loading, transporting, and delivering refined fuel using a semi-tractor and trailer.
Reporting Relationship: Reports to Transportation Manager

Qualifications:
- Class A DOT certification (Required)
- Hazardous Materials Endorsement (Required)
- Tanker endorsement (Required)
- Current DOT medical card (Required)
- Clean driving record for the past 3 years
- Carded at all local terminals (Marathon N. Muskegon, Ferrysburg Buckeye)

Functions
- Complies with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Complies with Company policies, procedures, and practices, including Safety Rules and Regulations
- Exemplifies and advocates the WESCO Brand image. Includes representing WESCO as being a safe and courteous driver.
- Works collaboratively with all WESCO Transportation associates to assure timely and accurate delivery of fuel.
- Responsible to keep WESCO assets in a clean condition.
- Possess good writing skills and the ability to use computers or handheld devices
- Completes Pre/Post Trip DVIR inspections and ensures drive cam, tablet, spill kit, fire extinguisher, and required paperwork are in good order and is on/in the truck.
- Safely drive loaded and empty tanker trucks of various, makes/models and configurations.
- Responsible for minimizing delays on routes.
- Loads fuel as instructed following all terminal rules and regulations.
- Ensures the safe and accurate unloading of fuel for each drop location.
- Provides friendly, courteous, and professional service to customers and store associates, including obtaining and providing Intercompany delivery of mail and other goods.
- Completes delivery loads as assign by dispatcher in an efficient and safe manner.
- Inform Transportation Manager of any vehicle or other operational equipment.
